Todd Silverman, a member of our Board of Directors for 10 years, was elected President of the Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple Board of Directors at the June 18 Board meeting. Todd, who has been serving as the 1st Vice President for the past year, is one of the co-chairs for the July 14 Fundraiser honoring Rabbi Nosanchuk on his 10th year as Senior Rabbi. He has also chaired several Friends of Fairmount Annual Campaigns, was Treasurer for 2 years, and served on the Strategic Planning Committee.
He is President of Plantscaping & Blooms, a family-run business founded 40 years ago by his mother and fellow Temple member Nancy Silverman, originally in Shaker Square and the last 19 years in Cleveland’s Midtown neighborhood.
Todd had his Bar Mitzvah and Confirmation at Fairmount Temple and his family has been part of the Anshe Chesed community for seven decades dating back to Euclid Avenue. Todd and his wife Stephanie are parents of Zachary and Ethan, who are graduates of our Religious School, and Laine who was part of this year’s Confirmation Class and is an ACTY officer.
